Good morning, I did a cad9 install on a new laptop. I cant remember where to put the license files so my nesting and scanning works again. I copied my license files into cad9 and the nesting and scan feature is not showing up. Im sure I have messed up somewhere, any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dave

I upgraded to full cad and was sent license files that unlock nesting and scan and trace. I dont know how I did it last time but i just figured it out. I replaced the lite license files on the dongle with the full cad license and it all works now.

Huh? If you copied the license file to the dongle the first time around it should still be there right? I always hate lite so not sure how that worked.
Just wish I didn't need the dongle plugged in all the time

About 8 yrs ago when I upgraded I copied the license into a folder on the hard drive in the cad folder. It worked til I changed laptops, go figure. It seems to be all good now that I put it on dongle..

Now I need to enter all my kerf offsets back into my tool file. I need to find where it stores them so I can save a copy in case I need to do another install of the program someday...

That worked without having to have the USB plugged in all the time? That would be nice, I swear one of kids are going to break mine one day

Your Tool Library settings are in the database file CutTmpl.mdb found under the TM Cad folder on the C drive.
