Torchmate growth 4x4 hybrid

    Yet another modification to my growth series 4x4 torchmate machine. I have now added linear rails and custom brackets on the sides. This thing now glides smooth as glass and I can run at over 300IPM

    VELOX Z axis
    Custom 2.2Kw spindle
    SCR15mm x 1500mm linear rails
    Custom connecting brackets
    Custom A axis build
    Custom Z Zero touch off plate from .5 inch aluminum

    Great idea. So you have 4 rails total? Got a link to them?
    I'd like to do this but I want to eliminate the lead screw

    no just two rails to replace the flat bar that came with the machine. I got them from amazon they are SCR15mm x 1500mm linear rails. i think everything was less that 300.00 and they glide smooth as ice. should have done this years ago
