Yet another modification to my growth series 4x4 torchmate machine. I have now added linear rails and custom brackets on the sides. This thing now glides smooth as glass and I can run at over 300IPM VELOX Z axis Custom 2.2Kw spindle SCR15mm x 1500mm linear rails Custom connecting brackets Custom A axis build Custom Z Zero touch off plate from .5 inch aluminum
Great idea. So you have 4 rails total? Got a link to them? I'd like to do this but I want to eliminate the lead screw
no just two rails to replace the flat bar that came with the machine. I got them from amazon they are SCR15mm x 1500mm linear rails. i think everything was less that 300.00 and they glide smooth as ice. should have done this years ago If you want to see some close up pics let me know and I'll post some
