Hi guys. I am using a used controller 501A for my 2x4 growth series until mine is replaced or repaired. It dives on the sharp corners like a yo-yo. Can I slow the reaction times down so it is not so responsive in the factory menu somewhere to stop the diving? Larry Cameron RusticMetalArt
You can control both the Arc Feedrate as well as the direction change feedrate, both are found under Configuration > Machine > Feedrate Ramping, both should generally be 70% less than your straight line feedrate. Such as if you are cutting at 120 ipm then you can set these values to around 84 to 90. Or if you dont want it to slow down at all then set these values to the same as your feedrate.
Ohhhh I had assumed there was a setting in the Blue Screen avhc that would slow down the response times of measuring the arc feedback or something and stop it diving so much in corners??? Regarding your previous reply, is it ok table wise to increase that federate ramping as it has worked ok for me the last 7 years?
ok thanks. .......... but i do still remember something I read on a forum about changing the sensitivity of the AVHC so it would react slower or faster no? Larry cameron Rusticmetalart
Yes but that is all voodo magic you would need to contact Onexia to get a run down of what the settings do under the Factory Menu, see attached of descriptions.
