Machine has been working awesome for 2 years now. Yesterday halfway through a cut it stopped because it said "open" on breakaway 1 and 2. I have tried everything I can think of. I have put on all new parts, retaining cap, shield, etc. Still doing it. Any advice?? Thanks, Mark

Breakaway 1 is the connection for the Torch to the lifter station where the magnet holds the puck in place. Breakaway 2 is the upper limit for the lifter station. Check your connections on the lifter station. On the left hand side you should have a black wire that goes into the lifter block and on the right hand side should be a grey wire going up towards the top of the lifter station.

On the back of the lifter block there is a cover with 2 phillips head screws. You can remove this cover and check the wires and make sure there are no broken connections. The lifter block is held on by 4 - 3/16" allen head bolts. If you have no breaks and still can't get it to clear then call into support at 866-571-1066

If the lifter block is the moons stepping motor, then it doesn't have and screws on it and when I took off the four allen screws it still wouldn't come off. So I couldn't check any wires.

Is there anything you can spray on the little ball switches to help them from rust or corrosion?

to test the function of the Breakaway, you can pull the torch off and looking at the magnet, below is two horizontal plates. touch the two plates together. If the circuit closes then you can adjust the magnet, pull the black nylon mounting block off, flip the bracket on the backside. There are 3 set screws directly behind the magnet, loosen each one revolution, then slighly snug the screw on the front center of the magnet (careful threads are nylon). Reassembly and see if the breakaway performs any better.

Clean the indentations with a green brillo pad and WD40 or Silicone Spray, do not use a wire brush if you do be sure to turn the Accumove box off first.
