I've had my torchmate 2x4 growth series for about two years. Everything has been running fine up until this last week. I purchased it new. One thing my dongle started to fall apart in the begining. The outer shell is built very poorly. The plastic is very brittle. The outer shell is mostly broke off. My computer is reconizing it but I get errors when trying to use cadcam. When I open it I get a font error. UNABLE TO LOAD /QUINTERO ERROR. After I close that everything works for a while then I get an error UNABLE LOCATING SECURITY DEVICE:4294967295. Also when I do get the cad to work long enought to generate a program I can not save it in a GM formate. My only choice is a fgc file. I need to get this fixed right away. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
unable to help with dongle but can possibly help with fgc. when u get to the cut screen, in the upper left make sure you have the software set to accumove imperial and multitool mine was doing the same when i reinstalled software. changed it and and it fixed it
Doug, nailed it. As for the dongle contact parts department and you can order a new one, replacement price is $185.
Thanks everyone. I installed the cad on my older computer and it works fine. I think my newer computer updated to windows 10 and that caused some issues. I went to install the Torchmate VMD on my other computer and need a varifacation code. Any suggestions? I want to uninstall it off of my newer computer since the cadcam is working on my old computer. Thanks
