Just did the woolery door hanger. Inspired by the second picture. I have gotten a lot of requests for them but I can’t seem to figure out how to get the initial to drop out of the name so it’s more legible. I’m sure it’s something simple that I’m missing.
Its all font choice when it comes to visibility. Usually more blocky, less thin to thick fonts visually come out better. Also adding a little height to the letters will make the readability better.
Maybe reduce be thickness of your horizontal bars. You might even try not using horizontal bars, just enlarge/tighten the woolery up enough that the letters touch a little. Either way I probably wouldn’t run the W through the woolery. I always think the full name should be on the front and the single letter falls behind it. Just my 2 cents.
figured it out a while ago. I made a box inside the bars where the letters will go, made it white. Selected the two images then welded them. Deleted the white box. This allowed me to put the name inside without any interference.
