ive got a millermatic 350 p mig welder. i loaded aluminum wire because thats all we really work with in my shop but the wire keeps on bunching up. we will weld about 3 posts (3 inch pipe welds each) then the wire bunches up and we end up loosing a lot of wire and time fixing the rats nest. is there anything that we can do to fix it or is it just something that we need to work around?

    A spool gun/torch may help.

ive got a gun that pulls from the handle and from in the machine. maybe disable the pulling wheels on the machine and leave just the one in the gun?

    Taktoa,
Al. wire is soft and when using a push pull system the drive rolls at the gun need to turn a little faster than the drive wheels in the machine that way the wire stays taunt and wont kink.

what size wire? loosen the rolls up a little on the machine end, it takes some tweaking to get right
