what would be the reasons one cannot get a cad to goto cam, keep getting ,no objects to cut...

 

When all else fails, sometimes a restart of everything helps.

yes thanks, all is well. tried a restart. no luck . it' a layer issue or maybe open idk

 

No objects to cut either means the tool path is not selected or the tool path is hanging outside the material boundary lines. Or it is not a tool path, click on it and see what it says in the upper left corner of the screen.
