I need to flip a part so it will fit in my cut area , when I mirror it the part goes way off left , not within cutting area. tried a few things but cannot get it to be inside the area where it will cut??

I then move it to the right side of the cut area and the new cut area is to the left of program zero

Lets say you are cutting 4 inch diameter irregular shape. It is shown at the bottom left point of your cutting area. You mirror it to fit your space available on your material. Because you mirrored it along the x axis it is now on the left side of the y axis. If you go to the spot on your sheet where this will fit and put the torch on the right edge of where you want to cut and then hit run, the torch will move to the left and cut the part. Try it in dry run to see how it works.

It is a simple process, the origin rotates with the part, as scbron puts it jog the torch head to the right the width of your part and that is your program zero. Place an x on lower left corner of piece of paper however you rotate or flip that piece of paper where the x is located is where the program zero will start from.
