Last year just before having the heart attack I loaned our Torchmate 4800 to a local high school welding shop class. The kids there are stoked when we rolled up with the equipment. The engineering department and the welding class have both been working very hard learning the equipment. It has been a pleasure working with the students. I wish more kids realized they can make a living in the trades. College is not for everyone. Hopefully with having the TM 4800 plasma table there will inspire a couple kids to elevate their learning and change the course of their family tree. If you have a local high school trade school with a welding program I encourage you to reach out and make contact with them. I promise the reward from working with one motivated student will be very rewarding. Sometimes it is not about the money. Take the time and help educate the next generation.
Since I started doing the training here at TM, one of the best things to see is the young people getting into this. We as adults, it is our job to make the younger generation understand that the world requires them to replace us. Best to be a leader...
