BIg Outdoor Fireplace

    This was a fun build. Fireplace opening is 3'x5' with double doors, ranch logo on doors and lighted ranch logo above the mantle. PS. That wire mesh is about $500 for a 5x10 sheet.

    Awesome! Is there power ran all the way up to the top? Or is the backlight battery powered?

    I bought some 1/8th" hole mesh awhile back and thought maybe it was gold plated for what they wanted for it! :eek:

    Yes, the LEDs are 12v run off a 120v transformer that is in a box behind the fireplace. Lights are remote controlled. The wire mesh was 1/4" wire with a 1" hole I bought through McNichols steel. They have a lot of mesh, grating and expanded metal that is really nice looking.

    Bought mine at McNichols also. They do have a nice selection. But pricey!
