Do you have to set seperate tool paths for each part or can you select all and set one tool path, then change the cut sequences? My issue is on a job with multiple parts it cuts a section of every part instead of finishing one and moving to the next. If something goes wrong during the run and the material gets moved the whole thing is jacked instead of at least getting one good one. Frustrating.
To be able to set the sequence it would need to see each parts tool path separate otherwise it sees it as one whole toolpath and it will determine order on its own.
If I am doing online and male which I do often, I create the online first then create the male then export so the online cuts first.
If you are doing one tool path i.e. Male, like you lighting post, and still having problems finishing a part before moving to the next. You have to make sure that your show fill works, if it doesn't make path. If you are doing two tool paths or more then you have to select all the male pieces, make path, then select all online pieces and make path as well. Create individual tool paths for each then sequence as Matt posted before then select the whole part and group the object. After this is completed you can do an array to make as many parts as needed.
Thanks. Since my original post I have discovered the group option. That fixed my original issue. Now it completes one before moving to the next. Hadn't thought of using array for an entire part. Thanks for that one!!
