Hello all. I am a high school agriculture instructor and FFA advisor in Eastern Tennessee. My courses focus on agriculture engineering, metal fabrication, small engine repair, and business marketing. Many of my fellow shop teachers have a Torchmate cutting system but find themselves "reinventing the wheel" on some simple projects. Granted, the "reinvention" is 9/10th of the fun! I am going to post cut files that I have created, borrowed from others, and those that my students have created. Feel free to use them all. And if you have anything to share, share away! Attached are TN related cut files for my fellow Tennesseans out there.
The following is a Google Drive folder that contains my active cut files. This folder is "live" which means as new files are created then they will be added to this folder. If you find anything you can use, feel free to. These files are not always perfect as high school students are creating many of them. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B3pWuNbAHagbY3J2VFhQTE5WZ1E?usp=sharing
Hum... wonder why you cannot access the Drive Folder. I tried uploading the .edu files but the site will not allow that file type. I would load up all of the .gm files but I'm limited to 10 files per post. It would take me forever to get all of the files uploaded.
Its our security at LE is blocking any cloud based service so nothing you are doing. I was just looking for the cdl/edu as then everyone can alter and look at in TMCAD instead of just having the g-code.
Great. In the folder are all of the .edu files to edit. May not help you boys behind your firewall Thanks! -Jerry
No worries... The .gm format files will open in the Visual Machine Designer software. VMD is the driver software for the machines that run the Accumove system. The .edu format files open in the TMCAD EDU Master version. This version of the TMCAD is for Educational facilities that has a Master and Student version.
These are awesome, Jerry. Thanks for attending the workshop last week. Let us know if we can help in any way!
Hey there Jerry! I'm also an Ag. Mech Teacher out here on the west coats of California. Hope is well and keep on doing what you do. You have done great things there. I'm glad to hear someone in our field is taking advantage of the Torchmate. Thanks for the DXF files.
Hi I teach a Metal fab program in Massachusetts and I'm just beginning to use the Torchmate, any chance I can get a copy of those edu files? Thanks
Sorry I haven't checked the thread in so long. Here is a link to my master folder in DRIVE. It has everything I use in my program at school. It's some what organized and stuff is added almost daily. Take a look and use ANYTHING we have created. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B3pWuNbAHagbckozYXNXQXRWbVU?usp=sharing
