Hello there... Just in case some of you don't know is that we offer Torchmate Operations training at the Reno production facility (and now we also offer Regional Training). It is a hands-on basic walk-through of the CAD software and operation of the machine. We provide the training, tour of the facility along with lunch for three days. The only thing you are responsible for is air/hotel arrangements, after training entertainment, and transportation to/from the facility. If you are interested in checking it out go to this link and see the agenda. Plus you can see the dates and book online! Online booking and a video overview of the course: https://torchmate.com/seminars Agenda and more information http://torchmate.com/news/cad-seminar Because of the popularity along with demand we have increased the number of classes for 2018. WHOA!!! Also our new training center allows us to be able to accommodate more people along with better learning environment. So if you are thinking of getting a machine, just got a machine, or an experienced operator looking for a CAD refresher this is a good place to start. If you have any other questions or need to get the fine print, email me at: CADTRAINING@lincolnelectric.com Hope to see you here. Chad
If anyone is undecided about whether or not this course is worth the time, money, effort to go out to Reno and spend the couple days in the classes, my experience was worth more than the costs associated with going!!! Chad does a tremendous job of covering everything from a2z, hands on experience, and getting to see the whole process and team that is behind our purchases from torchmate! You can count on having a good vast knowledge of running your torchmate effectively and efficiently. Even though I had general knowledge of my machine and the training course is a good starting course, there was so much information that made me a better, more efficient operator! On a side note there is alot of things to do and see when your done with class!
This experience was great. I learned a lot, and would consider going again. The advanced class will be on my agenda Mike
Thanks guys for the good words... Just to FYI... March 23rd-24th only has 1-2 spots left then onto April.
Do you do any classes on the east coast? I thought I read somewhere that you held them out this way at least in the past. Thanks.
We do not have a traveling road show for the TMCAD training through us. Might be a good idea in the future but I would assume we would have to charge a per seat fee for it.
And speaking of... We are booked until beginning of May... Probably because their is 20' of snow in Lake Tahoe and more coming. Bring the sticks/boards and stay a few extra to enjoy it!
a few places... either offer tours of tahoe or just straight rental. One of my go tos... http://sledtahoe.com/
Attended the March 3rd and 4th class, great class if you are new to CAD and struggling with it this two day class will open a lot of doors very quick, well worth the time and investment highly recommend !!
Ladies and gents... Thanks for the success fo this class so far... We are going to increase the amount allowed in the class so check out the dates here... http://torchmate.com/training and see if you can fit in! Oh and there is still snow in the hills but 60 degrees in Reno.
I wish you were located in a easier place to fly in to, its been really hard trying to find a flight in to Reno from my location.
Ok ... because everyone wants to spend more time on the machines along with quality time with me starting in August we are moving to a 2 day (3rd day optional) Wednesday to Friday schedule for the Basic CAD training. This is for people who need more time either with the CAD or hands-on machine time. We will go over consumables, troubleshooting CAD/machine, and add a few more projects to cover! Are you up for it?
