I haven't fired my machine yet . Still trying to get everything setup . I work long days and only have a couple hrs a day for garage time if I can stay awake so I'm slowly chipping away at things .. Just curious if anyone had any good or bad feedback on GREENCUT .

Side note from the green cut question, on diamond plate i would flip it and cut on the flatter side, easier to work with it that way.

Where do you get it and what are the benefits of it?

I ordered from my local welding suppliers "airgas" ... It a water additive with a quite a few benefits . My main concerned was corrosion prevention of my water table ,slats and any product cut. It's also completely safe . Some other additives can be hazardous once a plasma arc (heat) is added to them which is not the case with GREENCUT. It is made by lube Corp and any other benefits or specs can be found on there website .

Plus the GreenCut additive it has a pleasant aroma so when you are cutting it doesn't smell like a wet junk yard.

I've just recieved an order of Green Cut, they recommend a filtration and pump system to have a longer fluid life, is any one doing this now, and what equipment did you purchase?

I was using Dynaflux, not impressed at all, cant keep it clean or keep it from rusting.

They have a web site, look up Lube Corp, or Green Cut Plasma Arc Fluid. Mine came out of Canada, they do have US distributors, I tried first with the PA distributor, no answer from him for about 24 hours so I ordered on line. Then he called me back. I looked for his number, no longer on my phone. He is listed on the Lube Corp web site under US distributors, the one in Oregon I couldn't contact either. Good luck. Can't say how it works, seems most are happy with it here.

I've had it in my new water table since May of last year I'm really happy with it. This piece of plate has being setting there since we first put water in the table. DSC09762.JPG

I know this probably sounds really stupid but I have some questions to ask that I have not been able to find being addressed in the forum. I went to start a conversation, is this how you get your questions out there in the forum? Looked for it today and could only find it in my inbox. Sorry I'm just learning about threads and all that stuff. I just recently gave up my flip phone, about 3 weeks ago. I'm a little behind the times. Looking forward to catching up, with your help.

    Hi rosebud!

The "Start a Conversation" is if you want to message a member directly. This will not make your question public on the forum.

What you should do is the following:

    1. Go to the main page at http://fabricationforum.com/

    2. Click on the forum you want to post in (such as the CNC Cutting forum)

    3. In the top right there is a black button that says "Post New Thread" Click on this.

    4. Then simply enter your message title and the message itself and post the thread.

    5. Now you have a thread in the public area and anyone may reply to you.

    Hope this helps!

I’ve got green cut. It took forever to get it through customs. They are located in Canada. Just getting my table set up as well so still figuring things out.
