Is there a way to see how many cut inches the part has? Ive been calculating it by using the run time and the speed that i have it cutting at, but that will also have the jog time in it as well.

I feel like i would be better off charging for cut time vs cut inches.

    Hello Tyler,
unfortunately we do not have anything in our software currently to do this.

Cad 9 has a feature that will show you the cut area found under the Machine menu, if this helps any.

I do believe that AutoCAD does have a feature that can give you the statistics of your drawing.

Most CAM software that is developed for Plasma cutting will be able to show total length of cut. On my software you simply highlight the part, click on "measure" and it shows the linear cut inches. Jim Colt
