My Lead-Ins Suck - Please Help

Everything seems OK. Would you mind posting the CDL file? Have you checked all the physical connections around the torchhead and assembly to make sure nothing is loose? I used to use 45, but I find I usually get better results with an arc or 90 lead-in. Have you tried either of those?

My Lead-Ins Suck - Please Help

Thanks for the pic! Interesting, even in your corners (no lead-in) it is still "gouging". Hm. Can you turn off "show tool diameter" so it is just the tool path? Though I am not sure that is going to help. Also, double-click the tool path so it brings up the node-editing (with tool diameter...

My Lead-Ins Suck - Please Help

That does look like a pretty big gouge. Could you please post a screenshot of what your toolpath looks like in CAD before you cut?

Not sure if someone has a better way of doing this, but here is something I have used with relatively good success. I cannot always get an entire sheet full before I have to make some cuts, so I end up coming back to material I have already cut some pieces on and I try and use as much of it as...

    nesting

I just imported the DXF and nested the tree with no problems (though I am using v8 not v9). The only issue I have run in to while nesting is including tool paths. If I nest with tool paths it crashes, so now I just nest all my parts (ensuring proper spacing in the nesting setup) and the create...

Nesting error - array limit exceeded

I have experienced nesting errors in the past when including tool paths, so I no longer do that. Despite not including tool paths I have run across this error twice now, "Array limit has been exceeded. Please check the current data." Any ideas or thoughts? I search forums and only found one...
