    Table has a ghost...

I've been gone again for while with work. Came back and talk with the tech support, they said it sounded like some control chip in the accumove was over heated or damaged. They sent out a new one and I replace it. They said nothing had to be re loaded as far as software goes. Try to cut a...

    Copyrighting rules

Ive heard that if you change a logo or design up to a certain percentage it no longer falls onto a copyright issues, somewhere along the lines of 15-25% change in design.

In need of a better idea for notching tube

A good quality notcher from JD2 or Baileigh would help you out with production quantities. For hobbyist like my self the cheaper notchers or just a angle grinder will do fine for the limited quantities.

    Table has a ghost...

Assume I don't know what I'm doing if you must. But now its gotten to the point of a completely different outcome EVERY time i run a cut file. It ranges from not starting at all "due to a external fault", to Z axis over/under limit. Sometimes it will start and cut for 1/4" and stop due the...

    Cutting Stainless Steel

I'm having a hell of a time too trying to cut nice and neat bottle openers for my wedding. The problem I've seen is the work height for 10g stainless is .02" and the torch constantly dives into the material. Ive tried +/- 25% in speed and voltage and it doesn't seem to matter much. The one...

    Table has a ghost...

I haven't used the table (4x4 growth, accumove 2) for a 4-5 months and had a project come up a week ago. Cutting 1/2" plate steel for light pole adapters with about 6 various sized holes in the plate. In the 25 min cutting time for one file (4 adapters) the torch would dive into the plate...

    New month, new problem...

Well that's a bummer. Thanks for the info. So do the new tables fit a 48x48 or a 48x96 sheet?

    New month, new problem...

Howdy peeps, I took a few months off and went back to the mother land (German!) had a great time and made a couple signs for some family. They came out pretty good with some paint. Came back and tried to nest a full 48"x48" on my growth 4x4. I noticed the gantry won't run the full length...

    CAD V9 S.O.S.

And here is the view of CAD when generating the G code for a test file.

    CAD V9 S.O.S.

Here you can see it goes to the inner circle of this test file, cuts it out and then cuts it way to the outer.

    CAD V9 S.O.S.

Here you can see that it wants to cut out the "O" first, so it drops the torch and cuts over to the "O", then raises to go to the next shape.

So I planned on leaving for a road trip to montana and idaho tomorrow and desided to turn out some signs for my friends i'm staying with. I made the first sign ok and the machine was working ok. (Still trying to figure out cut quality and if the machine is binding because some lines are not...

How To Dial In Your Torchmate®

Not to high jack the thread but how would you dial in this cut quality issue? The lines are cutting smooth and the image looks jagged. Not sure if my drives are sticking or if my lead-in are wrong. 1/8" Mild with fine cut 45A In this first pic, it looks like the feed rate changed some how...

Servo Motors will not turn on

I bought a cheap $300 "all-in-one" computer from amazon to run the VMD and during the initial start up I accidentally clicked the ok button to load the antivirus. I couldn't get the computer to communicate with the accumove and the computer was running SOOOO slow. I removed the antivirus and...
