I've had my machine for over a year it's a 4800 with an 80 amp plasma. Use it everyday I love it. There are a few options that I can't seem to figure out. One in particular is nesting. I played with it for quite a while but still can't get it to be as efficient as myself nesting at the computer...
I agree I still have issues using the VMD nesting I find it's easier to go to the computer sit down and manually nest the products to be cut. I think they need a few more videos on some specific items of the machine and the VMD program
I have a 4800 table. It came with the plate marker and I just finished installing plate marker. Everything seemed fine until it was time to get the plate marker centered in the plasma hole. The plate marker does not extend to the plate. It stops about 1/2 in from the plate. Plenty of air...
I have not figured out how to create a new post so I'm hoping someone will get this I installed the plate marker everything works fine except for doesn't extend down to the metal when extended it's about a half inch off but it seems to operate correctly otherwise.
So knowing I probably won't hear from tech support till Monday, I removed the torch from mag holder and replaced all the consumables with used stuff and it worked. I have no idea but I didn't reboot again. Keep in mine my issue was the torch would not proceed down the z axis to start the cut...
After cutting a part I went to cut another part and the torch would not move off it's highest point when told to run. X and Y moves are fine. The IHS error appears on the screen. The torch does move up and down manually and when I turn the laser off and on. I have warm booted and cold booted...
