    Torchmate loses position

Dnmeistr, reducing the continuous contouring feedrate to 1,780mm/min did the trick, thank you. Rotating the part by 90° also worked.

    Torchmate loses position

Thank you, gents. Chad, if this is the issue, and it may well be, then I'd need to know what moves, exactly, cause this. I have a program than can evaluate (and change, within predefined limits), angles and line/arc lengths. I use it to eliminate tiny moves that I always thought caused this...

    Torchmate loses position

Dear Forumites I’ve been having problems on and off with my machine losing position, and this time around I have managed to isolate the problem. Attached is the troubleshooting file, g-code and actual cut. The problem comes in when the program reaches the apex of the cut and goes down again...

Torchmate CAD nesting failure: Invalid state

The second layer is empty. I tried nesting everything but the giraffes, it distributed the cuts over two pages, as it should, no issues there. There shouldn't be any cut-paths, as I haven't generated them yet. I attached a screen shot of the nesting settings. Normally I use 2° rotation, I just...

Torchmate CAD nesting failure: Invalid state

Good morning No, I'm nesting imported DXF parts that are quite complicated, but not more complicated than I've done before. I'm only creating toolpaths after nesting and I only work on one computer, with one user. The issue seems to be with the giraffes in the uploaded file, but it propagates...

    common line cutting

Dan, I've used common line cutting very seldom. The cost savings are negated by the more in effort to create the tool path and conventional edge quality loss.

Torchmate CAD nesting failure: Invalid state

Dear Forumites Let me get this off my chest right now: I'm deeply unhappy abut the move from Pirate 4x4. Torchmate, you had no moral right to do this! I'm livid. The support on Pirate was one of the, if not *the* reason, why I bought from you. Having said that I can forever hold my peace. Now...
