Worked like a champ. Changed the pierce delay from .10 to .05 and made my material thickness .009 and amps down to 20. I also made feedrate 55%. I put a piece of 20 gauge under it and that made it think it was making contact the whole time. Barely etched that metal, so it will work for...

I thought I had a pretty good understanding of my machine till I tried to cut some designs on 31 ga. corrugated barn tin and a design on a old scoop shovel. I have played around with all kinds of pierce heights, cut heights, amps, feed rates, etc. It just pierces my tin and breaks off my torch...

Had to reload my torchmate master copy because of a new dongle that I ordered, when I choose output to cut it out I don't have gm as an option. Just .fgc. I need that master copy to work, cause the student copy doesn't have the output option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark

If the lifter block is the moons stepping motor, then it doesn't have and screws on it and when I took off the four allen screws it still wouldn't come off. So I couldn't check any wires.

Machine has been working awesome for 2 years now. Yesterday halfway through a cut it stopped because it said "open" on breakaway 1 and 2. I have tried everything I can think of. I have put on all new parts, retaining cap, shield, etc. Still doing it. Any advice?? Thanks, Mark

I reinstalled then this last time, our tech guy, shut something off on my computer that does the automatic window updates. Haven't had any issues yet. He said that usually fixes those problems. Maybe that will help.

That is what I did last time. Just didn't know if that was something I would have to do every time I do windows update. I'll reinstall and try it again. Thanks for the quick response. Mark

Twice in the past week and a half, when we try to open our VMD icon to cut our material, a box has showed up saying Language Deserialization Failed. Then it goes to a screen that we have never seen before. If we uninstall our VMD software and reinstall it, it will work for a few days. But...
