If you know anyone in the bucket truck/digger derrick production industry... they use a pretty aggressive adhesive in the fiberglass/steel mating section. Not sure what it's called, but it will adhere to steel as long as the surface is clean. It's a two part glue/activator and it gets really hot...

Searching for what I want to call a CNC Frame Drill or CNC Rail Drill... Drilling many vertical holes in 4" (H) X 2" (W) X 3/8" (Thk) x 40' (L) structural tubing. Would like to have a drilling mechanism on a gantry that travels the full 40' and drills all the way through the tubing (4" Stroke)...
