I have the 4x4 growth series with the flashcut 501A USB compact signal generator and Chinese spindle with VFD 2.2Kw. What hardware do I need to be able to turn the spindle on/off and change the spindle speed within the flashcut software?
no just two rails to replace the flat bar that came with the machine. I got them from amazon they are SCR15mm x 1500mm linear rails. i think everything was less that 300.00 and they glide smooth as ice. should have done this years ago
If you want to see some close up pics let me know and I'll...
Yet another modification to my growth series 4x4 torchmate machine. I have now added linear rails and custom brackets on the sides. This thing now glides smooth as glass and I can run at over 300IPM
VELOX Z axis
Custom 2.2Kw spindle
SCR15mm x 1500mm linear rails
Custom connecting brackets...
Yeah I would agree with you I was worried about the weight. I’m at the point where my cassette needs to be rebuilt because the bearings are starting to make a lot of noise. Not really sure how fast the velocity Z will go but I have it limited at about 55ipm I think.
Now you have me curious so...
I cant help it i've added yet another accessory to my 4x4 machine. Purchased me a 2.2kw water cooled spindle to go on my Velox Z axis. I can say that I am completely staisfied with my ole 4x4 growth series table. I have never used it for plasma or metal working ive always had the router...
Just wanted to share the new addition to my 4x4 growth series table. I bought a cheap rotary axis from amazon to see if i could get it working with the table. Well.....it works and is pretty darn accurate. Currently using fusion360 for design and flashcutCNC 4.5.30 full version with a custom...
Chad. Im using Fusion360 with a modified Fanuc post processor to include 4th axis moves on my router table for aluminum and woodworking. I did speak to Flashcut CNC yesterday and they said I would need to pay them 195.00 to enable the 5th drive card and A axis in the software. Seems that...
I'm kinda not following you. I spoke with flashcut and they sold me a 5th drive card that the Rotary indexer would plug into. i installed the card and did what you said above and selected A on number 5. But under CONFIG/MACHINE/BASIC DEFINITIONS when I try to enable the A axis it tells me i can...
I have the 4x4 growth table and looking to add a 4th axis (rotary indexer) to use with my router but when i try to setup the A axis it tells me i have the lite version and it only supports X,Y,Z ???
any ideas ?
Anyone on here use a 4th axis indexer on their growth series table? I am wanting to get one and looking for recommendations. it seems that the flashcut control box will support it
Been working with fusion 360 and love the software and was wondering if anyone else uses the software. I mainly use my 4x4 growth series as a router table not a plasma. Does anyone know where I can get a post processor for fusion 360 ?
