Z does not adjust during cut

I found the menu, but the torch does not move up or down when doing the cut. I also checked the corner value and did a factory reste on the settings and changed that value to .5, it was at .485, not sure if that made a difference.

Z does not adjust during cut

Hi, Thanks for your response. Sorry for the confusion, I meant to say that the height does move manually, but not with the AVHC. You are also correct regarding the VMD software, I checked and the AVHC light does go on during the cut. I will check my settings later today, but I did a clean...

Z does not adjust during cut

I did the steps outlined to determine the voltage and imputed the value in the set voltage and then continued the run, but the entire cut the Z did not move at all except between cuts. I monitored its position on the VFD and it didn't move there either.

    Torchmate CAD Gear Profile Issue

Yes, I also noticed some of the broken lines, but copied over the sketch in so many ways trying to eliminate that. It functioned normally in other software. What do you mean by old node edit tool?

Z does not adjust during cut

Dont know if I am missing something super simple but the height of the torch does not adjust during the cut. The voltage reading does seem to be registering during the cut. AVHC is on Auto and Sample voltage is on, but i can see through out the cut the height does not move and usually dives or...

    Torchmate CAD Gear Profile Issue

Hi Everyone, Been having a hard time getting torchmate cad to properly generate a cutting profile for this gear I used the connect path and it did make the part solid, but still every time it generates these short segments instead of a continuous one. Any idea what a fix could be? Thanks!

Torch dives after cut instead of retracting

I do set up the partial retract distance and it works fine. It will run the program go up and down as intended, then at the very end the torch moves to the origin of the program and lastly plunges straight down to the table. I will try the second part of the procedure later today hopefully that...

Torch dives after cut instead of retracting

Ahh I see, I misunderstood the issue here. My tables Z problem is different, the table will run the entire program without issues (for the most part). Its not until the end when it goes to the origin that it decides that end location is about 1/4 into my material every single time.

Torch dives after cut instead of retracting

Hi, Do you know why this might be the case with a Growth Series table? My torch reaches the end of the program then always heads straight down to the table unless I manually stop the program. I tries the above change, but no luck. I am running VMD 4.0.42.

Disabling "OK to Move" in VMD

Thanks everyone for all the help, after months of trying to cut something I made my first cut last week. I found the OK to move signal and wired it correctly and got it to cut some circles. I still have to figure out the Ohmic sensing and the voltage sensing since it still gives me an error...

Disabling "OK to Move" in VMD

I don't see how to disable the "OK to move" from the BASIC tab.

Disabling "OK to Move" in VMD

After looking into it, it doesn't look like my Cutmaster 102 has the "OK to Move" output since it doesn't have the CNC interface board. Ill look closer into the internals to see if there is a port i can wire directly to. Ill let you know what my findings are. If anyone has experience with the...

Disabling "OK to Move" in VMD

Hi Everyone, I am new to the site and have a few questions. I have been struggling to get my table up and running for actually over a month. Its a Growth Series 2X4 with a Cutmaster 102 attached to it. My first problem was the machine diving every time on start or giving a "Limit Exceeded in...
