A friend of mine just got one. It's a nice little machine for the money. Had no problems welding with it. Also consider what thickness and how big of an area you may be welding. (I'm a miller fan)

I just upgrade my 2x4 to 4x4 the only stipulation was that they(torchmate) couldn't sell me the aluminum cross rails to connect the sides. So I just bought the top gantry, built a table, bolted my side down. Then placed my new gantry on top. I will say with the cross rail gone it makes it easier...
