I really like the cad software and controller that my TM4800 has. I have a cmc router table as well that has some very old software. Is there an aftermarket cad and controller software that i could look into to retrofit with my router table that is close to what my TM has now?

So the green marks around the 30 psi area should be avoided? Where can new tips be bought? and how often should it be replaced?

What do you guys use to hold down a small piece of metal you use the plate marker on? I had a half sheet of 4x8 11g stainless that the marker was still moving around on the table, messing up the alignment of the letters. What pressures are you running to the plate marker? I am running no more...

think i found the problem... tool paths only was selected. I deselected this and now it seems to work. So I'm have way where I need to be, heading in the right direction.

If I draw a circle of 2". I cut it out of 1/4" steel. Will the final cut be the same diameter on 45A, 60A, 85A? Or will each be a few thousandths larger due to the kerf?

I am sure I am missing something here so please help me to understand. Running the torch at 4oA will have a narrower kerf than at 60A, correct? And 60A will be narrower than 80A, correct? Or are all the kerf widths the same, for the proper speed and material thickness?

Now if i try to open a file directly from my list of files, the selected file drawing is replaced with the other drawing, which is a tomahawk. I have to close the file without saving. open the TM cad, which has the tomahawk drawing shown. then go to file, open , select my file to open it properly.

Everytime I open my TM Cad a certain drawing is always there no matter if i delete the drawing. Close the program and reopen the drawing is back. How do I solve this?

I am working on a new drawing. I want to cut the outside as a male cut. the inside drawing I have lines drawn as accents. They are lines only not shapes so these have to be cut as "online" correct? Also is there a way to "make path" to get the lines to stay where they are on the shape? so that...

If i were to hook up an external keyboard to my 4800 are they any keys that will move the torch around the table? I am getting tired of the touch screen especially if i am at the table using the tm cad for a"quick design change"
