I have a TM 3, I'm cutting a sign with three words it cut the first two letters of the first word perfectly. When it started cutting the third letter it dropped down like it's suppose to and raised up about 1/8" then fired and started moving and within a inch it climbed up to about two inches...

You probably already fixed your problem but I had the same exact problem traveling from one cut to another it sounded like it was binding up and it lost its position. I found my 110 plug was not all the way plugged in. I plugged it all the way in and problem stopped.
