You can do it a couple different ways depending on the look you’re trying to achieve. Normally I weld a small bolt to the back of the top layer and then put holes in the rest of the layers so they all lay together. If you want to space them apart just add a nut to the bolt in between the layers.

Thanks man. This was super easy. Hit the edges and faces with a 50 grit disc on a cutoff tool, rattle can it with flat black, then come back the next day and hand sand it down with a red scotchbrite pad till it looks like you want it to. Then semi gloss or flat clear.

Had a parent ask me to recreate her daughters college logo. Ended up being 11 layers. I designed it in 3 sections, the oval, the rooster, and the lettering/feet. I broke out the airbrush for feather shadowing and some foot work. One of the more challenging pieces I’ve done lately

I have encountered the same. Nesting has never done as good a job as my eye-crometer. I would like to see someone post some info on it.

Yes, multiple layers and then contour the edges with a 3” disc on a cut off tool.

Haven’t posted in a while. Been busy. Heres one of my current projects. Really happy with the detail I was able to get in the wings and sword handle. This is a 24” recreation of the Army Quartermaster Corps insignia.

I’d use a bar and sleeve as opposed to an actual hinge.

What table and plasma are you using?

A bad ground to your material can cause those issues.
