You could try posting on the Torchmate area on Plasmaspider to see if someone could help.

Operated Table Without Side Covers and The Rail Bearings Fell Out

3000.00 to repair it?? Yikes! If somebody doesn't know the size (I don't, I have a growth series) grab a micrometer or dial caliper and measure one. Hopefully it is a common size and Gooogle it. Even Amazon and EBay sell loose ball bearings. I bought a bag of 100 cheap to weld on for feet for...

My Lead-Ins Suck - Please Help

This doesn't help your original question but on those holes from node edit on the tool path I would grab the node for the lead in and drag it to the center of the hole so it's not burning twice on that bottom edge.

TM customer support? TM CAD install issue.

I think the needed file can't be copied or used as copied. I seem to remember in the discussions on Pirate about backing up the dongle it wasn't as simple as copying the files. I'll be glad to send them to you though. Mike

    Cutting Copper

I cut some jewelry pieces on thin gauge copper and used tips from the PM 30. As mentioned I used the aluminum specs but don't recall the speed. Mike

    Selecting starting position

I use Cad Lite and if I make the tool paths individually instead of using the Make Path method you can change the order of the cuts by clicking on VIEW, then click on SHOW TOOL PATH VIEWER, check the box SHOW ORDER. It will now show the order number at each cut, double click on the cut you want...

    Cost of steel

I've prided myself by using US steel. I have always bought from the same supplier and never shopped around. I guess that will now change and if it is China or Canadian steel so be it. I feel the US steel suppliers are taking advantage and ripping us off. I know prices change but over 40%...

    4x4 growth series gantry question

Planned obsolescence. If they provided parts to extend the life of our growth machines we would have no reason to buy a new one. I just bought a gently used manual height control assembly from a member. I had to buy a piece of cold rolled bar stock from my steel supplier to replace the worn...

    Cost of steel

I went to pick up my regular order of 4 sheets of 4x10 16 GA cold rolled steel and about fell over. It has increased from 56.00 a sheet to 82.00 a sheet in less than 3 months. This is for US steel, are the US companies slipping the 25% import tariff increase onto their US produced steel? Mike

    More CadCam problems

Some people put a USB jumper on the dongle and put the dongle inside of a small OtterBox or other enclosure with the extension hanging outside the box. This way the extension takes the abuse. Mike

    curving text.

It is near the bottom of the selections on "View" and near the bottom of "Options" there is an option to check "Use Instant Replay". Now I haven't figured out what you are supposed to do with "Instant Replay", just the ability to curve the text works for me after 6 years of manually tilting and...
