contest entry, portable fire pit

    Made this for a buddy who wanted a fire pit he could take apart for camping. Cut on a Torchmate 2x2, all parts interlock together, no welding required.... all notches and tabs are sized for 10ga. I used P/O mild steel.....Dave 20160425_163206.jpg

    The interlocking idea is awesome. What did you use to accurately bend each of the legs?

    Thanks, I bent the first one by hand to get the correct angle. I then used that one for comparison to bend the rest. Bent them in my home brew harbor freight press converted into my break...Dave

    How big are the sides and the legs of the fire pit when I downloaded it all the pieces were under five inches

    Legs are 3.717x17.554
    Bottom 15.732x14.125
    All measurements in inches...
