I may have a job next week cutting 3/16" diamond plate (steel) on my TM 4800. Any advise how to cut?? Should I have the diamond plate face down when cutting?

I’d definitely cut it face down. That’s some heavy diamond plate. Suggest measuring total thickness of an actual diamond, not just the material. Make cut settings based on that measurement.
