I have struggled with protecting the dongle from being inadvertently damaged. So i decided to put the dongle in a mini mag light box, drill a hole in the side and use an extension usb cable.

i will put some Velcro on the monitor and box so i can remove and swap to my other pc.

Not that big of a deal, but might help someone

That is genius. Now only to protect it from EMI/USB "issues" is the next step. o_O;)

Great idea. I too worry about something happening to mine. Im sure it would be a hassle to replace. Wonder if it's possible to make a copy on another USB?

I would recommend save the two files onto your computer for reference. I'm a JIC kinda guy and having a BU of them is always a good idea.
