Heron/Wetlands Scene Gate drawing 78"X126"

First step to an awesome gate complete. Each bird, the frog, one of the dragonflies and most of the vegetation was drawn from pics of the actual specimen.

 

How big will this be?

 

78" x 126". It will be split vertically and cut from 4' x 8' sheets mounted to the gate frame.

 

Cant wait to see it finished looks great!

King kong ball bearing hinges? Good for 3000#... I was just wondering.. Ive used Kong hinges many times and I wondered how heavy the gate was (especially swinging from one side and not split...)

I'm sorry about my long absence and your long wait on reply. Also, thank you for the compliment, much appreciated.

This particular design took a lot of time as each animal/critter and some of the cat tails are drawn from hi-res pics, except for the dragonfly on the right. As such the cost to design this piece from scratch ran $200.00. Even though this method may add to the cost of a design I find that the unique results achieved are well worth it as originality is what sells in this business.

The outpouring of support has truly been astounding and through the combined efforts of many wonderful people we have remodeled a spare room and installed a shower in wet room fashion in order to accommodate all of his needs. Jon is now entering the physical therapy phase. Still a waiting game as far as his discharge but he's proven thus far to be very tough, hope to have him home in a few weeks. Hard to believe he's been hospitalized since the 16th of December.

Oh, concerning drawings. Unfortunately it's been a few months since I've done anything at all, my life as I knew it was put on hold rather suddenly and some things went unattended as others took priority. I hope now to be getting back to the artwork I so dearly love.
